The main need identified by our customer was moving two automated facilities from North America -where they are assembled- to Europe, before September 2020, while supporting the European team in the installation and configuration of the same production lines. Moreover, the difficulties arisen in supporting their global manufacturing facilities from North America’s headquarters due to travel restrictions resulted in decreased productivity and missed production commitments for their customers. For this reason, the critical priority was finding an effective solution to provide remote support to technicians operating in the production plants located abroad.
By leveraging SPACE1 Extended Maintenance and its Augmented Reality features, our customer will be able to provide its European technicians with AR-powered remote guidance and step-by-step digital procedures, to support them in redeploying, installing and reconfiguring the production lines in other factories located in North America and abroad.
